Do istej miery. Väčší účinok môže mať na výrobcov, ktorí reformulujú produkty, aby dosiahli lepšie hodnotenie, čo nie je zvyčajne predmetom debaty.
Čo prehľady zistili
Systematický prehľad z roku 2025 o účinnosti Nutri-Score [1] a prehľad o vplyve označovania výživových informácií na obale [4] sa zhodujú: označenia posúvajú nákup v zamýšľanom smere a posun je malý. Práca na kritériovej validácii [2] sa zaoberá inou a predchádzajúcou otázkou — či algoritmus hodnotí potraviny tak, ako by to robila nutričná veda — a odpoveď je vo všeobecnosti áno, s niektorými známych okrajovými prípadmi.
Diétne indexy, ktoré sú základom týchto systémov, boli tiež preskúmané [3], čo je dôležité, pretože profilovací algoritmus zakóduje sporné hodnotenia o tom, ktoré živiny vážiť.
Účinky označovania výživových informácií na obale
Známé okrajové prípady
Kritici poukazujú na to, že olivový olej, orechy a syr majú horšie hodnotenie, ako intuícia naznačuje, a niektoré diétné nápoje majú dobré hodnotenie. Časť z toho je spravodlivá a časť nesprávne chápe dizajn: Nutri-Score porovnáva v rámci kategórií na základe na 100 g a nie je to verdikt o tom, či potravina patrí do zdravej stravy.
Nedávne revízie algoritmu sa zaoberali niektorými z týchto prípadov. Hlavný bod zostáva: jedno písmeno nemôže zakódovať všetko o potravine a zaobchádzanie s ním, akoby to tak bolo, je zneužitie, nie chyba.
Čo právne znamená zdravotný nárok
V EÚ sú výživové a zdravotné nároky regulované: iba autorizované nároky s akceptovanou základňou dôkazov môžu byť uvedené, a každý je viazaný na špecifické podmienky použitia. "Prispieva k normálnej funkcii imunitného systému" je licencovaná fráza s definovaným základom, nie marketingový text.
To, čo nie je regulované, je všetko okolo toho — obrázky, jazyk pôvodu a termíny ako "prírodný" alebo "zdravý". Regulovaný nárok je často najmenej zavádzajúce vyhlásenie na obale.
