Canvi en les compres amb Nutri-Score?
Una mica. L'efecte més gran pot ser en els fabricants reformulant-se per obtenir una millor puntuació, que no és el que normalment es debat.
El que troben les revisions
Una revisió sistemàtica de 2025 sobre l'eficàcia del Nutri-Score [1] i una revisió de l'impacte de l'etiquetatge frontal [4] convergeixen: les etiquetes desplacen les compres en la direcció prevista, i el desplaçament és petit. La feina de validació per criteris [2] aborda una pregunta diferent i anterior — si l'algoritme classifica els aliments com ho faria la ciència nutricional — i la resposta és àmpliament afirmativa, amb casos límit coneguts.
Els índexs dietètics que fonamenten aquests sistemes també han estat scrutinats [3], cosa que és rellevant perquè un algoritme de perfilatge codifica judicis discutibles sobre quins nutrients ponderar.

Els crítics assenyalen que l'oli d'oliva, els fruits secs i el formatge tenen una puntuació pitjor del que la intuïció suggereix, i que algunes begudes dietètiques puntuen bé. Part d'això és just i part malinterpreta el disseny: el Nutri-Score compara dins de les categories sobre una base de 100 g i no és un veredicte sobre si un aliment pertany a una dieta saludable.
Les revisions recents de l'algoritme han abordat diversos d'aquests casos. El punt més profund és: una sola lletra no pot codificar tot sobre un aliment, i tractar-la com si ho fes és un mal ús més que un defecte.
El que significa legalment una afirmació de salut
A la UE, les afirmacions nutricionals i de salut estan regulades: només les afirmacions autoritzades amb una base d'evidència acceptada poden aparèixer, i cadascuna està lligada a condicions d'ús específiques. "Contribueix a la funció immune normal" és una frase llicenciada amb una base definida, no prosa de màrqueting.
El que no està regulat és tot el que l'envolta — imatges, llenguatge de procedència i termes com "natural" o "saludable". L'afirmació regulada és sovint l'afirmació menys enganyosa del paquet.
