Ką rodo apžvalgos
2025 metų Nutri-Score efektyvumo sisteminė apžvalga [1] ir etikečių poveikio apžvalga [4] sutampa: etiketės keičia pirkimus numatyta linkme, o pokytis yra nedidelis. Kriterijų validacijos darbai [2] nagrinėja kitą ir ankstesnį klausimą — ar algoritmas reitinguoja maisto produktus taip, kaip tai darytų mitybos mokslas — ir atsakymas yra plačiai teigiamas, su žinomais kraštutiniais atvejais.
Maisto indeksai, kurie sudaro šias sistemas, taip pat buvo kruopščiai ištirti [3], kas yra svarbu, nes profiliavimo algoritmas koduoja ginčytinus sprendimus dėl to, kuriuos maistinius komponentus reikia vertinti.
Etikečių poveikis
Žinomi kraštutiniai atvejai
Kritikai nurodo, kad alyvuogių aliejus, riešutai ir sūris gauna blogesnius įvertinimus, nei intuicija rodo, ir kad kai kurie dietiniai gėrimai gauna gerus įvertinimus. Kai kas iš to yra teisinga, o kai kas nesupranta dizaino: Nutri-Score lygina kategorijose pagal 100 g ir nėra nuosprendis dėl to, ar maistas priklauso sveikai mitybai.
Naujausi algoritmo pakeitimai sprendė kelis iš šių atvejų. Gilus punktas išlieka: vienas raštas negali koduoti visko apie maistą, o elgimasis taip, lyg jis galėtų, yra netinkamas naudojimas, o ne trūkumas.
Ką teisės aktas reiškia sveikatos teiginiui
ES maistingumo ir sveikatos teiginiai yra reguliuojami: tik įgalioti teiginiai su priimta įrodymų baze gali pasirodyti, ir kiekvienas yra susietas su specifinėmis naudojimo sąlygomis. „Prisideda prie normalaus imuninės funkcijos“ yra licencijuota frazė su apibrėžtu pagrindu, o ne rinkodaros proza.
Kas nėra reguliuojama, yra viskas, kas ją supa — vaizdai, kilmės kalba ir terminai, tokie kaip „natūralus“ ar „sveikas“. Reguliuojamas teiginys dažnai yra mažiausiai klaidinantis pareiškimas ant pakuotės.
