Hvad anmeldelserne finder

En systematisk gennemgang fra 2025 af Nutri-Scores effektivitet [1] og en gennemgang af effekten af mærkning på forsiden [4] konvergerer: mærkerne ændrer indkøb i den ønskede retning, og ændringen er lille. Kriterievalideringsarbejde [2] adresserer et andet og tidligere spørgsmål — om algoritmen rangerer fødevarer, som ernæringsvidenskaben ville — og svaret er generelt ja, med kendte grænsetilfælde.

De kostindeks, der ligger til grund for disse systemer, er også blevet gransket [3], hvilket er vigtigt, fordi en profilering algoritme koder omstridte vurderinger af, hvilke næringsstoffer der skal vægtes.

De kendte grænsetilfælde

Kritikere peger på, at olivenolie, nødder og ost scorer dårligere end intuitionen antyder, og at nogle diætdrikke scorer godt. Nogle af dette er rimeligt, og noget misforstår designet: Nutri-Score sammenligner inden for kategorier på en per-100 g basis og er ikke en dom over, om en fødevare hører hjemme i en sund kost.

Nylige algoritmerevisioner har adresseret flere af disse tilfælde. Det dybere punkt står: et enkelt bogstav kan ikke kode alt om en fødevare, og at behandle det som om det gør, er en misbrug snarere end en fejl.

Hvad en sundhedsanprisning juridisk betyder

I EU er ernærings- og sundhedsanprisninger reguleret: kun autoriserede anprisninger med en accepteret evidensbase må fremgå, og hver er knyttet til specifikke brugsbetingelser. "Bidrager til normal immunfunktion" er en licenseret sætning med et defineret grundlag, ikke markedsføringsprosa.

Det, der ikke er reguleret, er alt omkring det — billeder, oprindelsessprog og termer som "naturlig" eller "sund". Den regulerede anprisning er ofte den mindst vildledende erklæring på pakken.

Er Nutri-Score præcis?
Valideringsarbejde viser, at den generelt rangerer fødevarer i overensstemmelse med ernæringskvalitet [2], med grænsetilfælde og revisioner.
Hvorfor scorer olivenolie dårligt?
Det er energitæt og scores per 100 g. Systemet sammenligner inden for kategorier i stedet for at erklære fødevarer gode eller dårlige.
Ændrer mærker adfærd?
Moderat [1][4]. Reformulering kan være den større effekt.
Bør Nutri-Score være obligatorisk i EU?
Et politisk spørgsmål. Beviserne understøtter "det hjælper lidt og gør ingen skade", hvilket er et svagere argument end hvad begge lejre fremfører.
